![]() ![]() ![]() I quite liked her, and I literally couldn’t wait to read her POV and actually get to know her. Number One! Unlike most other reviewers, I did not hate or couldn’t tolerate Silver before reading this book. On the other end, we have Silver Queens, the most popular, beautiful, blonde bombshell or as Cole calls her Miss. In this book, I finally got that, I got to read his thoughts and understand his past behaviours. he’s my fave and at times in previous books, I just didn’t care who the narrator was and whose story it was, I just wanted to know more about Cole. He is the valedictorian, competitive, quiet, charismatic, charming, nerdy “reads philosophy books for fun” athlete who happens to have some dark skeletons in his closet. While reading the previous books, I’ve always thought of Cole as the “dark academia” aesthetic characterised and that he is. Yeah, that pretty much sums up the premise and why the tag line says that “She’s off-limits”. Long story short, Cole and Silver are childhood friends, and more recently step-siblings, so their love is a bit taboo and to make their situation worse, Silver’s dad Sebastian Queens is running to become prime minister and is kinda projected to win. This is the 6th book and unofficial ending of the Royal Elite series and yes, it’s Silver and Cole’s love story. TW/: mental illness, domestic abuse, child abuse, self-harm, manipulation. ![]() ![]() I say I hate her too as I trap her, own her. I cross every limit with blood-coated fingers. ![]()
